Poor visit today.
Our first visit to this restaurant and we were forgotten about and left after not being fed. Ended up going to the chippy across the road. A-shame really.

On a cold rainy day, we entered the restaurant looking for some cream tea. Upon entering, we were welcomed by smiling friendly staff and a warm crackling fire in the fireplace. The menu looked amazing so we ended up ordering lunch first. The hot chocolate was a pleasant surprise big enough for me and my son to share. One of the best restaurants that I have ate in in Scotland. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I having a wee tour around beautiful Scotland. Opted for the old bank looked very nice. We were taken to the table to where we sat for an eternity to be srved other people arriving and being served before us.
My wife asked very if we could be served and an oldish lady with grey hair and glasses replied very abruptly.
At that point we decided to leave. This lady needs to appreciate customers. It looks like someone has also commented on her disgraceful attitude and manners.

A great place to eat in Callander, 'The Old Bank' is heartily recommended for a light bite, coffee, brunch or meal. Friendly service. Great cakes. Warm and welcoming. The Scottish breakfast rolls and lattes are especially recommended!

Our tour group stopped here for lunch. They were so busy but still gave amazing service and the food was AWESOME!!!. I had the roast chicken with mango mayo sandwich with crisps and a coke. Just what I needed for the rest of the day. Eat here, it's worth it.

Stopped for tea and cakes, place was busy but staff not really helpful and a bit dour. They had some function going on in the back, which they seemed more interested in we were just happy to eat and leave and not hang about.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are very nice and friendly. We have been before when we stayed in Callander. Can recommend the Fish & Chips, Steak Pie, The OD Burger and the Lasagne.. to be honest, everything looks great and reasonably priced. Highly recommended..10/10 all day... thanks all concerned in the Old Bank...

Accomodated us (table of 7) on very short notice. All the staff were lovely and full of banter. The food was all beautiful and if we were in the area would eat here again.

The Old Bank was pleasant, bright, and served a range of delicious meals. I gave it 4 because we had ordered chips and they didn’t arrive (yet they never charged us in the end) and there was no cress on my egg and cress sandwich, however these were very minor problems and didn’t affect our overall experience :) xxx

What they did, they did well. The service was very friendly, and the food was good. No frills soups and sandwiches, but that's what you want and need sometimes! All of the desserts looked great.

Went today food was lovely, staff friendly and helpful, 1 staff member older lady with glasses very rude, told us no when we asked for a tuna pannini and then muttered hurry up under her breath, no way to treat customers, need some manners
