In a suburb of Dundee. Nice grounds but not a lot of room outside. Big parking lot. Huge ballroom. Good for a funeral cup of tea or a large gathering. Smaller groups are list here. Nice bright room. Food ids inconsistent.

We travel from Inverness to Dundee in September and stay here beautiful hotel quiet. Room always spotless. Food always excellent. Staff always friendly and welcoming would highly recommend invercarse hotel.

A group of us go to the Invercarse for lunch every few months and it never disappoints. We get good service and the food is lovely. I would recommend for coffee/cake or lunch. Haven't been for an evening meal in a while so can't comment but can't see it being any different.

Had my friends funeral here it's a lovely place the location is a bit far out but you can get a taxi right to the door it might cost you £20 depending where you are coming from but it will get you there that's why I gave 2 for location service is amazing but a can of Coca-Cola cost £3 from the bar they also cater to gluten free and probably vegan too if you ask?

Easy parking. A friendly welcome by the receptionist. All staff were great and helpful. Very nice hotel indeed. Our room was big, very clean, warm with huge bed and a very comfortable nights sleep. Big clean shower, plenty of toilet roll too!! We had enjoyed the evening in the bar, reasonable prices. Tried some local whisky; Deanston Virgin Oak. Their distillery being just down the road. I liked that I could scan the QR code on the room door for the hotel website/menu/drinks menu. Our room was easy to get to - along one corridor. No noise issues. Good hearty buffet breakfast. View of the River Tay from restaurant. All in all, really nice comfortable stay. We would stay again if in Dundee.

Cheap and nasty for a premium price. LOUD all night on multiple nights. One corridor for all rooms, no sound insulation. So prepare to be kept awake all night by drunk guests for the events they host. Food was terrible. Drinks expensive. Beds uncomfortable. Everything offered was the cheapest nastiest version. For example you get one sachet of half a teaspoons worth of the worst coffee in your room. Give it a miss - book yourself an AirBnB for a fraction of the price and use the saving to get yourself a nice restaurant reservation.

The important aspects of staying anywhere for us is 1) a clean comfy bed 2) a great shower 3) a tasty breakfast. On all these points it was 10/10, we couldn't fault it. Everything was great and excellent value however having spoken to several staff at length it's clear they don't feel valued and are paid minimum wage which made us really sad actually. The vibe overall was quite low from the staff. Maybe some effort from the owners to create a better feeling of appreciation and value would benefit this hotel and create a happier environment for guests.

Stayed for two nights DBB. Meals were excellent. Breakfast standard buffet. Staff were all friendly and service prompt. Bed was very comfortable. Cleaning was NOT 1st class. Carpet hadn't been vacced. Dried mud left behind. Don't know when carpet edges were last cleaned, or radiator controls. Shower head was mucky. Reported all to Reception. All on all a pleasant stay.

Very pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff are all there to ensure guests have a pleasant stay or meal. View from dining room over River Tay is spectacular as are the two Redwood trees in the gardens.

Stayed here for work at the airport. Beautiful hotel. Lovely comfortable clean rooms. Very helpful gentleman night porter and the lady on reception was brilliant. Food was beautiful and very reasonable for a hotel.

Attended a funeral service here. My only complaint would be that the seats were too close together. The food and teas after the service were excellent.

I visited this hotel for 1 night, checked out on 1st October 2024. I visited with my wife and 1 year old baby. The check-in process was smooth, but the key cards for the room kept malfunctioning, and we had to go to reception multiple times to get them fixed. The room itself was spacious, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Although it was supposed to be a king-size bed, it was actually two single beds pushed together, making the mattress uncomfortable. The worst experience was during breakfast. We arrived at 9:18 AM, well before the closing time of 9:30 AM, but most of the hot food had already been removed. We requested boiled eggs and fried eggs. After waiting 15 minutes, we received soft-boiled eggs, despite asking for hard-boiled ones we did not eat them they were discussing . As for the fried eggs, we had to follow up multiple times, and they only arrived after we had finished eating. The staff were rude and started cleaning and hovering around us while we were still eating, which was both annoying and disrespectful. At checkout, just a few minutes after 11:00 AM, we received a call in the room telling us to leave immediately or we would be charged extra. This was extremely rude. We have stayed in many hotels, and this was by far the worst experience with staff behaviour.

It's a nice hotel but I've never stayed overnight. Only attended for weddings and black tie events. Well situated with great views from the ballroom.

My freind and I had the most enjoyable stay hear last night after a busy weekend we needed a rest in a comfortable place with no stress and this hotel was definitely our greatest choice.when we arrived we asked if our room could be one with a bath and after a few minutes if jigging few things around they had us sorted out no problem.we went to our standard king room at a very good price and it was nice and warm not too warm and clean the bed was lovely and very comfortable with plenty pillows.we had room service which did take a fair while and my food wasn't the best but freind really enjoyed hers and again the bill was very reasonable.we had our baths and the water temperature was just the best as I like a toasty bath and we have both woke up feeling refreshed had a really good breakfast and we will definitely be back we stay in dundee hotels often as not from the area and we tend to have a favourite but this hotel has just wiped the floor on price parking stunning garden grounds staff are lovely and the hotel is very nice love it's design and as a manager of a club in dundee I will definitely be sending my guests hear in the future

Nice hotel located in a quiet area although a little bit out of town. Rooms are big but furniture is basic. We had dinner and the food was good.

The room was lovely however it was extremely hot with no air conditioning. It was not that accessible for people with impaired mobility there are not many rooms without stairs to climb.

We were here for two nights in early August and could not fault the hotel. Had a hire car and the property has a large parking facility. Property is set well back from the road so the rooms are very quiet. We didn’t dine here but the restaurant appeared busy both evenings. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Hard to fault for the location and price.

Lovely, quiet hotel in good location, served by a number of buses to get you into the city and beyond. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Excellent value for money.
