Inverness Cathedral, dedicated to St. Andrew, is a great place for anyone who appreciates history and design. The architecture is stunning, with intricate details that reflect the rich history of the area. While there is a small spot for kids to play, it might not hold their attention for long, as the cathedral is more focused on its historical and architectural beauty. For history and design lovers, however, it's a must-visit, offering a peaceful and reflective atmosphere.

Enjoyed a service here, 3 weeks ago .. just a pity the heating wasn't working at the time. Luckily my wife and I were wearing our thermals. We were made very welcome.

Nice place. £2 for a wee nosey (and you can follow the signs throughout the Church) or £5 for some tour (never did it so can't comment. Lots of beautiful architecture and details to see.

Not religious in the slightest. Fascinated by the architecture of places of worship. Greeted warmly by the duty custodian, we paid the minimal entrance fee with pleasure and strolled the cathedral. There are self guided tour cards that deliver detailed but brief information. This is undoubtedly a gem and a must do. Even if it’s simply to sit in a place of sanctuary.

Visited when it was being set out for a concert, so limited access to certain parts. This was explained fully on entry, and no fee was taken. What we said will make us return to see the rest.
