I requested refund from this hotel for one night as I didn’t stay here for some reason. At first they agreed but when I sent my request through booking, they either said they cannot process it or ignored it. After calling for multiple times for over 1 month I was told that the manager changed and they don’t agree with the refund anymore. Come on I’d appreciate some honesty and straightforwardness. This is not how you do business.

Fairly quiet during our early evening visit but won't rush back due to bad language from a small number of customers. Not appreciated.

Excellent local pub, great for drinks and a fantastic night out. Lots of regulars, and also, if you're in luck, you'll get to meet some of the local basketball team. That will be a night you'll never forget!

Hôtel situé sur la rue principale de Banchory, parking pas très aisé. L'accueil se fait dans le pub, la partie du bâtiment servant de réception semblant condamnée. Effectivement, l'hôtel est à vendre 😕. La chambre est vieillotte mais propre. La salle de bain est petite mais fonctionnelle. Une Smart TV donne beaucoup de possibilités de programmes à regarder, y compris en streaming.
Le personnel est très avenant chaleureux, veillant tous les jours à ce que vous ne manquiez de rien.
Un inconvenient: le bruit du pub bien fréquenté + une turbine qui fonctionne toute la journée.
Pas de restaurant mais le Burnett Arms Hotel situé en face peut pallier à ce manque sans soucis.
Prix très intéressant pour la saison

Clean room, however bathroom could be updated. Checkin around the back of a boozer wasn't a great first impression. Quite expensive considering the offering.

Nice place and great staff. Pub very clean and good social distancing. Our room was adequate for one night stay. The hot water was scalding and the bed a bit short but all in all I would return.
