A wonderful cozy little restaurant. I had polpette in a red wine reduction sauce with caramelized onion and apple for the appetiser and it was absolutely divine. For primo I had a funghi ravioli, scrumptious! The host was super charismatic and warm, we loved our time there! For 4 people we paid around 100€ and left satisfied!

As soon as we walked in to this wonderful restaurant the owner Louis made us feel at home. The atmosphere and decor were a background to the excellent food and service. It is not often that you take your time eating to enjoy every mouthful. Thank you again for a fantastic evening.

Questo, a mio parere, è il miglior ristorante di Lucca.
Cinque minuti dopo essermi seduto a tavola mi sono sentito a Parigi, nel cuore pulsante della città francese, dimenticando completamente di essere a Lucca.
La cucina è deliziosa, propongono dei piatti non troppo complicati e si sente che per cucinare utilizzano tecniche francesi abbinando il tutto alle migliori materie prime italiane.
Mi hanno colpito molto principalmente due piatti, il filetto in salsa di chianti e il dolce di cui non ricordo il nome.
Il filetto era tenerissimo, si scioglieva in bocca e la salsa con cui era accompagnato lo rendeva unico, sia per bontà che per originalità, non era assolutamente il classico filetto che si mangia da tutte le parti.
Del dolce invece mi hanno estasiato le sue consistenze, tante e di diverso tipo, ovviamente anche il gusto non lasciava a desiderare.
Dispongono di una giusta selezione di vini, ovviamente c’è molta Francia in questa cantina.
Il servizio è molto conviviale e attento, qua ci si sente a casa, complimenti davvero.
Per quanto riguarda l’arredamento non ho niente da dire perché mi ha lasciato senza parole, per chi è stato a Parigi, venire qui, è un emozione.

We called ahead for a reservation. This restaurant is in a quiet and cosy spot which soon got more popular as the night went on.
The service was great, the person who served us was very attentive and and made sure we were happy at all times.
The food was great and very flavoursome and came very quickly.

Un restaurant au dessus des standard habituel mais donc aussi plus cher (170€ pour deux , 1 entrée pour 2 , 2 plat , 2 apéros + bouteille vin avec assiette fromage + accompagnement ) faut compter 7€ de plus pour le couvert
Vous passez un bon moment avec le patron qui est avenant et parle plusieurs langues ce qui est un plus .

One owner is making the food in the kitchen, the other owner is the host. Together they present a complete and perfect experience. I don’t right reviews very often but this was an experience I felt I had to recommend!

Wij hebben absoluut genoten van het heerlijke eten (vers bereid) de sfeer en de gastvrijheid van Louis.
Hij weet als geen ander de gasten te entertainen. Een absolute aanrader wanneer je in Lucca bent.

Erano purtroppo un po’ di anni che non tornavo a mangiare da Luis e David, ed è stata una meravigliosa riscoperta. L’ambiente è sempre splendido, intimo e caldo, curato in ogni dettaglio. La cucina strepitosa e l’accoglienza altrettanto. Non vedo già l’ora di tornare!

Ristorante fuori dal coro dove apprezzare una cucina curata e attenta che trova contaminazioni tra gusti non tipici del territorio ma che ben si amalgama con la tradizione toscana. Il proprietario Luis, sa accogliere e creare un clima conviviale senza eccessi di protagonismo e la sua esperienza acquisita in anni di vita trascorsa a Parigi, si ritrova nel sapore dell'allestimento molto francese che ha ricostruito nel suo locale. Unico appunto il costo un pò sopra le righe seppur qualità e servizio possono far indulgere su questa aspetto........

Locale affascinante, curato nei minimi dettagli, ottima cucina con menù particolare: il tortino di ceci con funghi e il tiramisù agli agrumi super !

Top restaurant ! Du service à la cuisine, les produits sont de qualité. Beaucoup de finesse et de saveurs. Cela change des plats italiens que l’on trouve dans tous les autres restaurants. Merci pour ce bon moment !

Il proprietario è un personaggio simpaticissimo, pietanze tutte ottime soprattutto il dessert: Tiramisù agli agrumi 🍊unica pecca, le porzioni avrei preferito fossero un po’ più abbondanti. Ci tornerei volentieri comunque!
