Pasta was pretty severely undercooked, all the bread was stale and everything was overpriced especially for the miniature sizes of the meals. The waiter tried his best to accommodate us against the rain which I appreciate - I don’t know how you mess up bruschetta in Italy. Fries were yum.

Duur, onbeleefd personeel, moesten op alles heeeeeel lang wachten, kregen het verkeerde gerecht, bijgerecht is nooit gekomen maar probeerden ze wel aan te rekenen. dit was voor heel het terras zo, er was geen enkele klant tevreden

Esperienza molto negativa.La prima 🌟 e dei primi piatti e di Lucca che e una città meravigliosa.Invece il menù di ieri sera di notte bianca non corrispondeva di quello annunciato.Abbiamo ordinato tre menù fissi .Con noi era una bambina che ha mangiato solo pane che non mangia questi cibi.Poi i secondi una delusione.Tonno alla griglia precotto.Salmone crudo dopo che mi hanno scordato e tre volte le ho chiamato per portarmi secondo piatto.Anche alla fine il conto.Era uno imbroglio.I piatti erano calcolati uno per uno,non come menù fisso.Piu ci hanno fanno pagare 3 calici di vino che era incluso con menù fisso e invece sul conto ci hanno messo 5 calici.Di più abbiamo ordinato una 🍺 e due bottiglie d'acqua.3 euro di coperto alla persona.Il conto era 155 euro e dopo il reclamo 137,ma nemmeno questo corrispondeva .Il figlio,la nuora e la bimba erano stanchi,hanno viaggiato tutto giorno e sono stati 3 giorni a Como bene e coccolati, invece qua la prima sera a Toscana hanno detto una delusione,non credevano.

Menu’ notte bianca,qualità del cibo normale,peccato che il conto presentato non corrispondeva a quanto esposto verbalmente e sul menu’ all’ ingresso del locale ,a fronte del reclamo siamo stati rimborsati ma in modo poco elegante e non professionale.Caffe’ decaffeinato a soli 3,50.

Esperienza negativa, cibo mediocre e prezzi dei secondi troppo alti, caffe bruciato e 6 eur per due caffe direi fuori luogo da Cracco a Milano costa la metà 😂

L’endroit paraît top, malheureusement le service, la qualité et la quantité est tout autres, je commande un bière (bira) non filtré on me sert une bière sans gluten à 8 € au final, je commande une Parmigiana en second piato ( un plat emblématique) la portion correspond a un antipasti sa mozzarella était gelée,par manque de quantité j’ai du me prendre en plus un autre second piato une carbonata de la mer 🌊 la quantité correspondait a un primo piato, ma femme quand à elle pris des spaghettis à le vangolé un plat aussi emblématique où le nombre de vangolé sont au nombre minimum de 20 à 30 en fonction de leur taille là encore une fois il n’y’ en avait que trois ridicule, nous avons fait part de nôtres mécontentement la réponse à été, nous faisons de petites portions car les gens ne finissent pas forcément leurs assiettes, cela fait trente ans que je passe mes congé en Italie, je suis un habitué des restaurants Italien celui-ci est l’un des rare qui a réussi à me décevoir.
Pour finir une addition finale à 57€ sans aucune remise après nos plaintes, ce repas ne valait guère plus de 30€
Je déconseille cette endroit, d’autre endroit à Lucca ( Lucques) relève le niveau heureusement 😅

Недавно посетил ресторан Pane & Scarpetta в Лукке, Италия, и это был один из самых отвратительных ресторанных опытов, которые у меня когда-либо были. С самого начала нас неприятно удивили: вместо ожидаемого комплементарного хлеба подали черствый, а затем еще и включили его в счет за большие деньги. Еда оказалась полным провалом — пересоленная паста, сгоревший пармиджано и откровенно несвежий тартар. Как будто этого было недостаточно, ресторан взимает абсурдно высокий входной сбор, который совершенно не оправдан с учетом ужасного качества всего остального. Когда мы потребовали вернуть деньги за испорченные блюда, хозяин ресторана отказал нам в крайне грубой форме, полностью игнорируя наши претензии. Это место — позор для итальянской кухни. Категорически не рекомендую тратить здесь время и деньги.

Es una gran estafa, nada recomendable.
Nos hemos tomado tres cocacolas y nos pedía 21 euros. No ponen ni la botella de la bebida. El chico súper desagradable y todo muy poco profesional.

Buono prosciutto e melone.
Ma le due tagliate erano stracotte e dure.
Piatto sbeccato, coltelli che non tagliano (forse anche per via della carne troppo cotta e non di prima qualità). Oltre al coperto viene addebitato anche il pane (raffermo)!
Troppo caro per questa qualità.
Veramente una pessima esperienza.

La comida estaba espectacular, sobre todo la pasta, que se nota que es fresca y artesana. Tienen un menú de cocina de mercado, muy recomendable. El sitio no es del todo céntrico, es un rincón acogedor, muy a lo “Toscana”. El personal muy atento y amable. El vino (local) que nos han traído también muy bueno. En resumen nos ha encantado ☺️

We were staying in Lucca for a few days and this restaurant was recommended to us by our host. And it didn’t disappoint. The food was perfect, especially the ravioli which were to die for, and the service…only Italian can be this friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place. And to all Americans- yes you have to pay the service fee. You are in Europe.

Food was very good however adding a service charge of €6, bread charge of €2 and €6 for a breaded ball we didn’t ask for we won’t be going back.
Once we were sat down and classed as in the restaurant, service was very poor.

The prices are a bit on the higher end, but the food was divine. I think I'll remember that meal for the rest of my life.
Upon the waitress's recommendation, we ordered local specialties and local wine, and we didn't regret it. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Thank you very much!

Sanza 'nfamia e sanza lodo. Prendo a prestito i versi del Vate per descrivere un' esperienza che non ci ha lasciato nulla. Personale gentile e servizio puntuale gli aspetti positivi uniti tutto sommato a prezzi contenuti per non mangiare quasi niente però. Porzioni dei primi da assaggio se la pasta è cotta ben serviti in piatti scenografici. Ma il bello si fa per dire è arrivato con la frittura mista ordinata per 3 e giunta in una fiamminghina dove la metà era verdura fritta con 3 gamberi di numero. Peccato, avrebbero delle potenzialità. Un suggerimento: 30/40 grammi di pasta in più a porzione non vi manderà in rovina, e lasciate stare la fiamminghina, offrite porzioni singole degne, non sarà un problema pagare qualche euro in più. Il cibo tuttavia era buono e di qualità. Personale gentile e accogliente.

Food was excellent. However, was overcharged by $2 per meal (6 people dining). We were not charged the “special” price posted which almost seemed intentional on owners part, as we were 6 American women traveling and likely thought he could get away with it. We were charged $3 each coperto which seemed high for light lunch. AND an arbitrary service fee of $8.45 was charged. I’ve traveled to Italy many times and I am accustomed to the coperto but not both coperto AND a service charge. It’s too bad since chef did a great job but owner was intentional about overcharging us. Would not recommend or ever return. There is plenty of excellent food at reasonable prices in the area. I do not have an issue with spending but I abhor being ripped off.

It was fantastic! The steak was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding; our server was attentive and friendly, making the evening truly special.
I’m confused by people giving this Italian restaurant 1 star for their burgers – if you’re looking for burgers, go somewhere else. Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pane & Scarpetta, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. The staff were some of the sweetest people I've ever met, making us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the steak – it was, hands down, the best steak of my life.
To top off the fantastic dinner, the restaurant went above and beyond by inviting us for breakfast the next day to celebrate my brother's birthday. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it, but the gesture was deeply appreciated. If you're looking for exceptional food and genuinely warm hospitality, Pane & Scarpetta is the place to go.
