Stayed here for 4 nights and dined in the restaurant for one night. It is situated in Vigilo, overseeing the beautiful Bergamo landscape, the comfort of the rooms, the amazing views, the tranquility is simply great. The restaurant and the dining experience was also top notch. Will definetly go there whenever i am in Bergamo. The only handicap may be, for some people, is the difficulty in reaching to the hotel with a car, there is a car park if u pay for it in the hotel but could be difficult for some people. The rest is just great unique experience

Accoglienza ottima, sono arrivato e mi e’ stata parcheggiata la macchina, presi i cappotti e ci siamo accomodati. Personale di sala non invadente e molto professionale. Abbiamo scelto il menu’ degustazione boschi, qualita’ delle materie prime superlativa. Non ho soggiornato, quindi non posso valutare l’hotel. Cibo ottimo Consigliato, torneremo

This is one of the most amazing places we have been. Absolute great location with an amazing view over Bergamo. Top high class small restaurant and hotel. You have to be quick to get a place. Top food. Amazing wine list. Super sommelier. The service was absolutely perfect. Even though it’s not yet a Michelin star restaurant, the quality of the location, food, wine selection and service was absolutely a Michelin star!!

We didn’t book a hotel here, but we did have really nice drinks on the terrace. Wonderful view, and the staff were really nice! Helped us with our travels too. Thanks a lot!

Pranzo domenicale: bellissima sorpresa a Bergamo. Locale molto elegante e accogliente, abbiamo pranzato in una saletta molto particolare. Il personale molto accogliente e sorridente sin da quando ci hanno aperto le porte del ristorante fino a quando siamo andati via: molto professionali ma anche cordiali nello spiegarci il menù degustazione da noi scelto. Ottimo e impeccabile il servizio. Che dire dei piatti: innovativi, raffinati, buonissimi e con una materia prima di qualità. Abbiamo anche trovato adeguato il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Hanno anche una bella terrazza esterna, per cui ci ritorneremo per ripetere l’esperienza all’esterno. Alla prossima!!!

Una vera perla in Bergamo! Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di provare il ristorante per una cenetta intima. Davvero senza parole! Un viaggio fantastico in cui siamo stati accompagnati con garbo e professionalità. Cibi eccezionali uniti ad un'atmosfera raffinata ed allo stesso momento confortevole. Consigliatissimo!

Il Relais San Vigilio a Bergamo, è senza dubbio uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai cenato, situato sulla collina di San Vigilio offre una vista mozzafiato sulla città e le valli circostanti La cucina, celebra i sapori locali con ingredienti di alta qualità, presentati con cura ed eleganza, la carta dei vini impressionante ed il sommelier è molto competente Consiglio questo ristorante a chiunque desideri vivere una serata speciale in un luogo unico Non vedo l’ora di tornare Grazie

I can honestly say that this was the worst and most disappointing fine dining meal that anyone in our party has ever experienced. We booked a table for eleven people to celebrate two birthdays and an engagement. We expected a really special dinner and a lovely evening. This was far from the experience we had. The food was terrible, the service was neglectful and extremely rude. This was sad and unexpected as my daughter and her husband have been living in Bergamo for the last few months and had visited the hotel and restaurant several times and had good food, friendly, attentive service and a great time. Hence we booked a large table for the celebrations when we were visiting Bergamo as a large extended family group and expected to have a wonderful evening. The pre-arranged set menus were a little disappointing from the outset as we would have preferred to choose food from the a la carte menu, but we accepted the necessity to pre-order for such a large group. However, the food on the night was practically inedible and most of our party hardly touched their meals. We all found the flavours bland or unpleasant and the textures were frankly disgusting, especially the fish menu and the guinea fowl course of the meat menu. We had to sit in a restaurant where other guests were eating delicious looking food whilst we were limited to plates of uninspiring, over-salted and in most cases mushy and inedible dishes. The fish menu was one slushy, wet, salted dish after another. Even the bread was coarse and different to the other tables and no butter was offered. The dessert was uninspiring, bland and comprised the cheapest ingredients. I cannot reiterate enough that the fish courses were practically liquid in texture, extremely salty, very homogeneous and lacking any finesse whatsoever. The meat menu was apparently similar in its cheapness of ingredients and lack of flavour. The service was shockingly poor all evening. We had to repeatedly ask to order wine, which we eventually managed to do after the first course had been served, meaning there was no wine with the course. We would have purchased wine for each course but the disinterest of the sommelier and our inability to enjoy the meal prevented us doing so. There was no attempt to make sure we were getting what we needed. The manager noticed towards the end of the evening that we hadn’t eaten our meals and asked us if there was a problem. We told him that the food was overly salty, an unpleasant texture and that we were unable to eat it. He didn’t address this at all and tried to justify the textures with some spurious explanation. Most disappointingly of all, when we complained to the management, we were initially offered a reduced price for a further meal, which the whole party refused as the meal was just too unpleasant; no one was willing to rely on an improved experience, especially given that the meal had cost us almost €1000. When I relayed this to Antimo (Front of House), I was faced by a dismissive email telling me that the meal and service were up to standard, that perhaps the flour had been ‘faulty’ and that there was no further issue to redress. I asked him to refer me to the maitre d'hotel so I could escalate the matter but have had no response whatsoever. A thorough waste of money and a frustrating and horrible customer experience. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Had a very bad meal here a few weeks ago. We came along for a celebratory dinner, setting was nice and we were welcomed by the Maitre d'. Due to group size we'd had to book an expensive set menu well in advance and sadly it was totally inedible. No one finished any of their courses and to be honest I felt sick to my stomach. Splendido hotel recentemente rinnovato. Camere arredate finemente. Vista molto bella. Ottimo staff. Location perfetta per chi vuole un pò di tranquillità a 15' a piedi dal centro storico.

Ieri sera cenato con amici al Relais: il “chef table” è meraviglioso, con vista sulla cucina. Ambiente curato, elegante e cosy. Servizio attento . La degustazione degli Orti è ottima, la consiglio.

Ho cenato e non pernottato. Devo dire che ho mangiato bene e la location è fantastica... Si erano dimenticati di portate il vino, hanno poi rimediato subito, solo per quello 4 stelle e non 5 al servizio.

Très belle hotel, accueil haut de gamme, restaurant gastronomique à la belle carte des vins. Très belle vue... mais accès pas très facile... si vous louer une voiture... prenez la toute petite !!

Amazing all around. Stunning views and exceptional service. Dinner was mind blowing, one of the best meals of my life. Breakfast was made to order and did not disappoint. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working in the room which made the sleep uncomfortable however overall this was a great experience.

Une très belle expérience, un lieu accueillant et historique. Un point de vue magnifique sur Bergame et la région. La chambre très spacieuse et joliment décorée ,grande salle d'eau , plafond en voûte. Le petit déjeuner extraordinaire, des produits de qualité et variés. Un acceuil et un service irréprochable et chaleureux. Une très belle adresse !

Un luogo della Bergamo ,da visitare ,unico e romantico dove troveret anche e questo Albergo 🏨 e ristorante di alto livello ,dove la gentilezza si sposa con un atmosfera ed un panorama unico. Un aperitivo seduti nello stupendo giardino floreale. Con decine di farfalle 🦋 che si possono sui numerosi fiori.

Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo in questo terrazzo molto curato con una bellissima vista. I cocktal erano ottimi e abbondanti con prezzi che variano dai 10 ai 15 euro serviti con degli stuzzichini. Attenzione anche per chi ha intolleranze alimentari o allergie. Servizio impeccabile e disponibili nel darti spiegazioni. Da tornarci sicuramente per una cena.

Certamente! Quando ho chiamato ho chiesto espressamente se c'era parcheggio perché portavo degli amici e uno aveva una gamba rotta. Al telefono mi era stato detto "certamente, abbiamo un parcheggio, è piccolo ma a disposizione. Visto l'orario della prenotazione troverà senz'altro posto". Il posto c'era peccato che non era a disposizione. Poi la persona che ci ha accompagnato al tavolo è stato molto altezzoso e poco disponibile, non ci ha nemmeno degnato di uno sguardo e alla domanda. Possiamo stuzzicare qualcosa? la sua risposta è stata " se volevate mangiare dovevate prenotare la cena"....poteva dirlo con altri modi e almeno un sorriso di cortesia non mentre se ne andava dandoci le spalle. Non aggiungo altro perché il resto credo che sia andato storto dovuto al malumore creatosi. Grazie

Comme l'attestent les photos la vue de ce lieu est magique : sur Bergame, sur la ville haute et la vallée. Il n'est par contre pas facile d'y accéder en voiture ; les routes comportent des goulots étroits, il faut conduire avec dextérité et utiliser un bon stick déodorant, les places de parking sont rares à ultra-rares. Le parking qui comporte 10 places à quelques mètres de l’hôtel est le plus souvent complet, l’hôtel comporte son propre mini parking mais l’entrée tient du miraculeux ou de ceux qui ont une protection premium franchise zéro et se fichent de rayer la carrosserie. Par ailleurs, deux parkings sont peut-être plus accessibles : face à la Birreria del Belvedere et au niveau de l’arrêt « scaletta castello » sur la route Felice Cavagnis. Par ailleurs faites bien attention à n’utiliser que cette route « Cavagnis » pour descendre, les autres comportent des goulots façon alambic ! Le personel est vraiment très agréable et serviable. La chambre que nous avons eu au (la num. 4) au rez-de-chaussée, était par contre sombre, humide (>70%) et assez froide. Nous étions une famille de 4 dans ~ 30 m2… Petit déjeuner agréable. Beaux apéros sur la terrasse. Je n’ai pas essayé le restaurant, qui était fermé pendant mon séjour.

It’s at the very top of Bergamo. The service, room and food were all superb. Very steep decline and incline walk to the top of Bergamo but there is a cable car for those who choose not to walk. Beautiful town. Highly recommend.
