Un véritable désastre culinaire dans un cadre prétentieux
Nous nous sommes arrêtés au Risorgimento Resort, un établissement affichant fièrement ses cinq étoiles luxe, pour y boire un verre de vin et déguster un plat. Malheureusement, l’expérience fut déplorable.
J’ai commandé un plat de pâtes carbonara, qui s’est avéré être le pire plat que j’ai mangé de toute ma vie. Après deux bouchées, il était impossible de continuer. La qualité et le goût étaient indignes d’un établissement de ce standing. Ce qui est encore plus surprenant, c’est que malgré l’évidence (une assiette à peine touchée et l’incompréhension visible de tout le monde), le plat a été facturé sans le moindre geste ou explication.
Je tiens à préciser que ce commentaire ne concerne que l’aspect restauration et non la partie hôtelière de l’établissement. Cependant, cette expérience décevante me pousse à déconseiller fortement cette adresse pour la restauration. Une véritable désillusion dans un cadre qui promettait beaucoup, mais ne tient absolument pas ses promesses.

Hotel collocato nel cuore del centro storico di Lecce. Camere ampie, pulite, silenziose. Personale gentilissimo, professionale e subito pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Anche il personale delle pulizie è di una gentilezza incredibile. Ottimo il servizio car valet, con l'auto sempre pronta quando richiesto e ben custodita quando non serve così da dormire sogni tranquilli. Ottima la colazione tipica e abbondante.

If you are looking for a first class, clean, great location hotel, the Risorgimemto Resort is your only choice. The staff are incredibly courteous, efficient and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. The dining was exceptional, room service first class, cannot say enough good things about this exceptional hotel.

Beautiful small hotel in the middle of the city. Rooms are clean and very comfortable service is top shelf. We had dinner in the restaurant twice it was as good as it gets anywhere in Italy.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Alessandro, at the front desk was wonderful to work with. He arranged numerous trips for us and was very prompt in answering all my many questions and emails before arrival. I would highly recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff!

Hotel molto elegante posizionato in pieno centro storico e decisamente confortevole; le camere sono ampie, spaziose e perfettamente insonorizzate, impeccabile la pulizia. Il personale risulta assolutamente adeguato per il livello della struttura. La colazione è molto soddisfacente in termini di qualità e varietà. Molto soddisfatto del soggiorno (5 notti) - complimenti ai gestori. .

Hotel Risorgimento in Lecce is a delightful boutique hotel with a prime location, perfect for exploring the charming historic center. The service is generally good, with staff attentive to guests' needs, and the overall ambiance exudes elegance and comfort.
However, one downside to my stay was discovering an unexpected charge for using the spa facilities, which I wasn't informed about beforehand. It was disappointing to only find out about this additional fee when I received the bill at checkout. While the hotel offers a lovely experience overall, clearer communication regarding extra charges would significantly improve the guest experience.

Hotel je u samom srcu Lecce a.
Usluga je odlican,osoblje pristojno,ne nametljivo i usluzno.Voljni su pomoci,dali su nam mapu grada i oznacili vazne dijelove grada i dio sa restoranima.Kako je samo srce grada,mozete doci s autom ,te vam ga oni preparkiraju na sluzbeni parking i to dnevno kosta 25 eura…Isto takk ,ako trebate auto ,dovezu vam ga natrag.Imaju prekrasni reatoran na 4 tom katu s kojeg puca pogled ….vidi se prekrasan zvonik te se mozete slikati.Hotel je stariji,i vidi se da nije odavno preuređen ,ali je isto lijep…Preporucujem svima koji dođu do Leccea…

Perfectly located on the limits of the historical centre and next to the Roman Amphitheatre. Comfortable larger than average rooms. Excellent and courteous service by all staff.
We had a memorable four nights in Lecce and will definitely return to the same hotel.

Incredible experience at this hotel. We are traveling with a group and the hotel was very efficient and accommodating. Centrally located, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. We had an amazing experience here. Highly recommend.

This review is only for their SPA:
I came to the spa for a 1 hour relaxation massage. I chose this spa out of the many spas in Lecce because they also have a steam room and the resort is supposed to be 5 stars and looked really nice in the photos.
I was really disappointed with my experience and I am only writing my review here (rather than contacting the hotel directly, which I usually would do) because it is clear from my interactions with their team that they don't really care about spa customer's experiences. Perhaps they are more considerate for their hotel guests.
I emailed a few days in advance to book the massage treatment. They responded with times available and noted I need to give a credit card number to confirm the booking. I emailed back saying I will phone because I am not comfortable putting my credit card details in an email. However, when I called I could never get through - no one answered the phone. I was calling during the afternoon on a weekday, so regular business hours. So I waited until I arrived in Lecce (when I started communicating with them, I was in Bari). I was annoyed that I could not get through on the phone, so I went in person to their lobby to give my credit card. The man at the desk confirmed my booking but hours later told me that actually they had given up my time slot because it took me over 24 hours to give my credit card details. They offered alternate times so I rescheduled my massage.
In advance, I emailed to ask if I would get access to the spa amenities (steam room and relaxation lounge) before/after my massage. It took several emails to confirm that I do (it seems the person who replies to emails who works at the front desk - Gabriele- does not communicate often with the spa staff). I asked if I can arrived 15-30 mins before my appointment in order to use the steam room before the treatment. They oddly emailed me "show up at 5:30pm and start your service from that time" (i.e. don't come early). I thought it is strange because I have been to several spas around the world and usually they give you access to the steam room and you have a choice to use it before or after the treatment (I prefer before). He did however confirm that I DO have access to the steam room and did NOT mention any additional cost for this.
Finally, on the day of the massage I showed up a few minutes before my treatment (to allow time to get changed or fill out medical questionnaire etc which most spas have, although this one did not). It was just me in the spa. There is a private change room and shower area. The massage was okay. It was very light pressure (to the point of feeling like tickling at some points) but I knew that, as the masseur mentioned that "relaxation" massage is light pressure. I was a bit surprised that there was no draping (you just lie on the table naked/in your underwear and when you flip over on to your back, nothing is covered), especially given that I am female and had a male masseur. However, I have heard this is normal in Italy so I don't think there is anything wrong about that.
After the treatment, I used the steam room for 10 minutes. I sat in the lounge maybe for 5 minutes but there is no music, no reading material, not even water or tea. So it's not really an inviting atmosphere. There's just 2 lounge chairs in a small room.
When I checked out, I was charged 35 euros for the steam room!! I thought that was crazy, a 50 mins massage is 65 euros but to sit in the steam room for 10 minutes costs 35 euros? It was such a rip off. I mentioned that I was not informed of the fee and the person at the front desk just shrugged and said this is the cost. It is not listed anywhere in the website or email communications. The customer service was not good and I did not think they would do anything if I complained, so I just sucked it up and paid 100 euros for a ridiculously subpar experience.
The hotel lobby looks nice and maybe the hotel itself is very nice. But the spa is a joke for a place pretending to be a 5 star facility.

Ho pernottato 1 notte in questo hotel.
Per essere un 5 stelle è alquanto deludente.
Ci hanno dato una camera executive con MOQUETTE ovunque che ci siamo fatti subito cambiare.
La nuova camera è molto ampia soffitto a volta alto e letto kingsize ma l arredo standard senza alcun fascino e DATATO.
Gli spazi in comune deludenti. Una grande hall anonima e vuota
Palestra mini...non ci sono spazi esterni godibili...
Il ristorante elegante ma buio
Nota positiva : colazione buona con possibilità di uova fritte o scrumble.
