Hier eten is één groot feest!
In januari 2025 is het beste restaurant van Lucca verhuisd naar een mooi gerenoveerd pand.
Van het kunstige houten plafond tot aan de sfeervol verlichte kelder, elk detail is uitgedacht en tot in perfectie uitgevoerd.
De humor van het personeel is weerspiegeld in de beeldende, half verstopte, verhalen die op de muur geschilderd zijn.
In deze honderden jaren oude locatie wordt met liefde en enthousiasme bereide gerechten uitgeserveerd.
Een klasse restaurant waar erg kundig, vriendelijk, hardwerkend personeel smaakvolle gerechten bereid en tegelijkertijd een heerlijke ongedwongen sfeer weet neer te zetten.
Suggestie: laat de wijnkaart dicht!!
Geef bij Pasquale aan wat je kan waarderen in een goede wijn en laat je verrassen door de kennis, verhalen en de fantastische wijnen!
Het enige wat gemiddeld tot laag is im verhouding, dat zijn de kosten.
Deze beleving is zeer goed betaalbaar en is veel goedkoper dan dan je zou verwachten.

Una cena indimenticabile. Parlare dell'ottima qualità di ogni pietanza sarebbe riduttivo perché il tutto è accompagnato da uno staff impeccabile. Ci siamo sentiti super coccolati e torneremo ogni volta che sarà possibile. Menzione speciale va alla qualità delle materie prime e alla gentilezza del sig. Pasquale e di tutto il suo staff!

The best caponata ever! It was my first time there but the owner made us feel welcome as if we had been his dearest friends for many years. The wine list is very thorough. Extremely recommended.

Accolti piacevolmente anche senza prenotazione e all'ultimo minuto Pasquale si è dimostrato essere una persona simpatica, gentile e disponibile salvandoci la cena...e che cena!
Servizio impeccabile, personale attento e preparato nonché gentile.
Cibo di qualità a partire dall'olio, passando per il pane, fino al dessert.
Una tappa assolutamente consigliata in pieno centro ed avvolto dalle mura della città. Straconsigliato!

Last night I dined at da Pasqualino with close friends. The Osteria is always booked solid so you MUST make advance reservations!
Fortunately, I did. The ambiance was cozy and warm and even through the restaurant was full, we were easily able to carry on a conversation, which was really nice. Our server was very good and really knows his wine! The wine list is quite extensive. The food was excellent and Oasquale was there making everyone feel attended to and happy.
I highly recommend this very authentic Osteria!

We went this restaurant in our first night in Lucca, and it was such a good experience that we booked that once again. The dishes and wine recommended was good in both our visits. Certainly a highlight for our trip in Italy.

Wonderful dinner tonight. The food was exquisite, I had the veal and it was so tender. But what sets the restaurant apart is really the service, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your meal. The owner also interacted enthusiastically with guests and recommended dishes and wine and olive oil. A great experience and you cannot miss it in Lucca!

We go by car from Denmark to Rome every autumn (married to a Greta Thunberg-type ;)). We always stop for 3-4 days in Lucca, because Lucca is a lovely city. But we might as well be honest. We do it mainly because we want to visit Pasquale.
The food is amazing, the wines are amazing (and in all price ranges), the service is exquisite - but above all: Pasquale, the owner, is the sweetest, friendliest and most generous host you can imagine. You are in good hands with Pasquale and his "crew". We always book well in advance - a visit to Lucca without two evenings at Pasquale would be a disaster.

The evening we spent at Osteria da Pasquale was magical! We were seated in a quiet courtyard. Every single dish we had was made of quality ingredients, beautifully served, and simply delicious; before each dish came a complimentary glass of: prosecco at the start, a sweet liquor before dessert, and brandy at the end. The servers were very friendly and efficient, and the owner Pasquale - a down-to-earth, nice man - was on hand to talk to the guests about the experience and about what they were serving. We will never forget the evening we spent at Pasquale's.
