Posto accogliente, informale ma decoroso.
Menù non particolarmente ampio ma “specializzato” e non banale
Ottimo l’antipasto battuta di manzo, con le patate fritte finissimi. Osso buco particolarmente buoni
Ambiente un po’ rumoroso perché il vociare delle persone rimbomba .
Esperienza comunque positiva

Non era mai stata a cena al manzo ,pur essendo lucchese ,devo dire piacevolissima scoperta,cibo ottimo,personale super carino e gentile lo consiglio .

Sempre bello tornare ogni anno in occasione del Lucca Comics. Ristorante di qualità, anche con piatti particolari che si fa fatica a trovare altrove ( tipo frittelle di cervellina). Consiglio di provarlo.

5 giorni a Lucca per lavoro, e il Manzo è stato il nostro piccolo grande angolo di pace e paradiso delle bontà ogni sera! In varie serate abbiamo provato quasi tutto il menù e ogni volta una esplosione di sapori, di bontà e di gusto. Nota a margine a corredo: se con un nome così era facile pensare a fiorentina, diaframma e tagliate buonissime, anche il pesce è stata una bontà unica, per non parlare della MITICA focaccina nera nel sacchetto del pane... Numero uno 🔝

Osteria meravigliosa, se passate da Lucca dovete assolutamente provare i piatti propositi qui. Ovviamente sto parlando di un luogo per amanti della carne, è possibile anche trovare piatti vegetariani ma Dal Manzo, è la carne l'ingrediente principale. Una nota di merito al servizio che è impeccabile e ottima la selezione dei vini. Concludendo, un luogo davvero caldo ed accogliente. Consigliatissimo!

We booked a place here on a Friday evening. When we turned up we found that we had booked for the wrong day and the restaurant was fully booked! In spite of that they accommodated us and boy am I glad that they did. The food was extremely good and for me was the perfect balance between simplicity and fancy dining, showcasing good ingredients. Pasta dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. My son had pork neck which seemed to be an enormous shoulder chop. This was perfectly cooked, tender and flavourful. I had a perfectly cooked veal cutlet and my wife had tuna which was also perfect. No room for dessert but we had them anyway! Service was excellent - friendly and attentive. I congratulated, who I presume to be the owner, on the way out on the fantastic restaurant. He smiled and patted his hand on his heart three times which to me summed up the love that goes onto running a restaurant like this. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful atmosphere in an authentic Lucca street. This Osteria was recommended to us by our hotel, we sat outside under a few umbrellas while it was raining lightly. Thanks to the waterproof umbrellas and candles on the table, the setting turned out to be quite romantic. Lovely!

Een hidden gem net buiten het toeristische plein Piazza Dell’Anfiteatro. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was perfect en de variatie aan gerechten op de kleine kaart maakt het restaurant toegankelijk voor iedereen. Ik kan maar één nadeel benoemen en dat is dat er soms auto’s/brommers langs rijden. Een laatste suggestie is dat je wel echt reserveert, het is een populaire tent bij zowel toeristen als locals.

This restaurant has good food but their treatment of patrons is awful. They turned us down for takeaway.. And for dessert yikes. There was nothing difficult or time consuming about our request. You literally cut the dessert and place it in a take away container. The more ridiculous part is that we had takeaway from them the evening before. The women who work here are very insecure, rude and snappy so don’t bring a beautiful woman with you when trying to dine here as they will feel uncomfortable as we have BOTH times that we have been to this restaurant. I barely write reviews but someone had to call them out on this mistreatment in hopes that the behaviour will change so people can enjoy this restaurant. The food is all they have to offer at this point. And not for take away lol.

Lovely authentic Osteria. The Florentine steak was the best I've ever had. Great recommendation from the staff at Tenuta Adamo.

This was a great find! Had a delicious meal, the house red wine is particular to Lucca and was so delicious. You must try the ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers with anchovies. Delicious! Could have had better airflow in the dining room, we were very hot the entire time even with the air conditioner on. But everything was wonderful!

Il cibo è spaziale, la focaccia ai cereali che offrono è deliziosa. Ci sono state un po’ di attese e il servizio non è stato sempre attento; le quantità nei piatti forse un tantino ridotte per i prezzi proposti, ma tutto sommato siamo stati bene!

Capitati per caso.... locale molto bello e particolare....e anche il cibo ottimo....non le solite cose. Veramente buono. E il servizio attento e gentile. Siamo stati benissimo. Torneremo sicuramente .

Che piacevole sorpresa! Sembrava la solita trattoria tipica toscana, con sedie in paglia, buon vino e cibo tipico, e invece.. lo era, ma con tante aggiunte sul menu, di stile “fusion”, che pescano dalle cucine orientali e non solo.
Finalmente qua si possono mangiare anche le interiora (non siate disgustati, sono buonissime), e il cervello fritto, che è cucinato splendidamente.
Vorrei tornarci presto, ma c’è un unico ostacolo (se si puó parlare di ostacoli): è sempre gettonatissimo ed è difficile trovare posto. Consiglio la prenotazione.

Cena di lavoro. Abbiamo con concordato un prezzo e ci hanno preparato un bel menu, ricco e di qualità.
La qualità degli ingredienti e dei piatti è molto buona, il personale è super simpatico e c'è una buona atmosfera.

Quel plaisir !!! Un personnel très sympathique, des plats succulents. Le vin au verre est de très bonne qualité.
Une petite terrasse bien calme dans une ruelle. Y aller les yeux fermés.
