This was a superb museum to visit, with miniature model displays from varied time periods! The displays include rooms showing people spending engaging in activities and sitting with each other, showing theatres for the leisure part too. Miniature houses and shops are shown, as is a cute little railway display!

Nice place to visit. Some interesting displays, but in need of a little TLC. Free entry, so some leeway should be given I suppose.

5 stars for the craftsmanship, but a poor show on the maintenance of the place. The time and work put into these is worthy of better! Lighting needs fixed in areas and there are big sections of nothingness in the “museum”. We were so excited to visit and not at all disappointed by the artwork, but certainly disappointed with how it is now displayed/treated. Note: It’s now free to enter, just borrow a magnifying glass from the desk downstairs.

Free to get in at the moment which feels appropriate. It's a strange museum that feels like it has been forgotten, at the back of a craft shop, under a garden centre. The whole basement shop and museum space are being closed sometime soon and apparently relocated. The models are very good it had to be said, just wasted being hidden away.

Amazing what people can make with their barehands! Some incredible works of art that feel bit like there are going to waste where they are. The museum is downstairs in the garden centre, really should be situated somewhere where more people can find it

A treasure of a museum! Small entrance fee, takes about an hour to view, appreciate the work properly and you’re given a magnifying glass to see the details more clearly. Very interesting place within a lovely garden centre that sells delicious cakes! A lovely afternoon. Museum could do with a little attention and updating, such as lighting, decor and signage, but still a very interesting place.

Really lovely museum. Has over 50 miniature displays and spent about an hour in there. Well worth the £2.50 each. Magnifying glasses are provided. No photos inside but postcards of some displays available at 35p

Fascinating miniatures. So much detail and the craftsmanship of the models is exquisite. This is a fulfilling hobby for some! You need about an hour to look round and a magnifying glass is provided. No photos allowed inside.

Hidden gem! If you like scale models you'll love this. Highly detailed dioramas - an interesting curiosity and a fascinating place to spend an hour or so with very reasonable entry fee.

Canny place to fill a few hours. You get a magnifying glass when you go in to view the miniature displays properly. Some of the displays are looking tired and unloved, there was quite a few where things had fallen over or off the walls which did spoil it a little. Shame as its such a unique place. Very thankful it allows dogs as we stopped on our way back from the Lakes.

You must take your time to look via the magnifying glass. The detail on each of the scenes is breathtaking. From grand French rooms to granny's kitchen the attention to detail is amazing. Look for the hand blown glasses with a twist in the stem. Costs £2.50 for an adult, £2 for concessions.

Easy to get to and not expensive to get in. Some amazing models by real craftspeople. Currently the signage/settings need some TLC but that doesn’t detract too much from the exhibits. Took us an hour or so to look around. Nice that the entrance fee includes use of a magnifying glass … because they are needed to see the details.

Only £2.50 per adult to look around takes around 30minutes. Worth a look if you’re visiting the garden centre not worth a long trek just to view that alone though as you’ll probably be disappointed as it is very small. Some of the lights on the models weren’t working so a little hard to see and very nosy as there was building works going on above.

Absolutely amazing, the amount of detail in the exhibits is mind blowing Unfortunately some are difficult to see due to the lighting but still out of this world

This place is great. Spent an hour here with a 7 and 9 year old. Everything is done to 1/12th scale and looks great. Family entrance (summer 2020) was £6. Photography isn't allowed but I grabbed one for the review so you could see what to expect from the layout. There is a viewing deck for kids and you get a magnifying glass each on entrance.
