Very good overnight stop, it's a little dated with decor, however that doesn't detract from the homeliness of the hotel, there's a well stocked bar there and also a breakfast too.

Only hotel in sawtry which is good, but saying that, there is no competition so there is no improvements. Rooms are standard. Good for putting your head down. Staff always friendly and cheap stay though.

Of course this hotel isn't posh, it's a budget hotel but honestly what a gem. It is a bit tired but it's clean and comfortable, slept better here than I do at home! Breakfast is basic but I'd say there is something for everyone. £50 for 2 people to stay with breakfast is a total no brainer! If the need arises again I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Gave me a room with a faulty lock which they knew about and a member of staff had to unlock the door. The bread was like sawdust and even for a continental breakfast not much choice

I'm impressed how clean this hotel is. The blonde lady at reception was lovely, helpfull making us feel welcomed, the wiew is stunning, everything on here is spotless clean. They are doing a great job and this hotel will be my first iption if I will ever come back in this area.

For some reason I can’t book this place any more through sites ever since I did my last review about loving the day staff but the woman , Sonia I think her name goes by , night shift staff is very rude and unfriendly. Wondering if she has did anything that makes my card not getting to book up no more ? 🤔

We arrived very late as we were driving all night and got very tired. They had a room available and were super polite. I met 3 of the ladies working there (sadly, I dont remember their names), and all were super polite and friendly. We had a great chat about art, my work, their family, university, and more, while at the bar, which was great value! I was travelling from Nottingham and had gotten used to drinks costing £3+ for soft drinks and £8+ for anything alcoholic... but I ordered 3 drinks here and the total came to £3.50. That's really cheap for roadside services! I did not use the game room, or explore the outside, but the view from my window was of a lovely field and I slept well. Beds weren't crazy, but they were better than the beds I slept in at the hostel in Nottingham. I would gladly stay here again!

Just had an overnight stay here. It's like a hotel from the 80s and that American motel vibe just off the side of a quite long road. Room was at least £30 cheaper than the next available hotel on the day within a reasonable distance, plus a basic breakfast was included which the other didn't include. Friendly helpful staff. We had a family Room clean but old fashioned. Few things that would have been worthy of another star. (Room 119)Both Bedside lights didn't work, toilet flush was intermittent and shower gel in shower was nearly empty.

I enjoyed my stay when I arrived the staff was very nice and welcoming and when I went to my room it was spotlessly clean the bed was very comfortable and it was nice quite and very peaceful. I had a good DIY breakfast every morning and I found Redwings Lodge, Sawtry a great location and good value for money. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Very comfortable room with small but adequate toilet and shower. Excellent continental breakfast included in price. Exceptional value for money. Indian restaurant next door but good pub two miles away.

This place has hostel qualities like a games room and bar. It's convenient for stopping on the motorway. Great value and you get breakfast, toast, cereal, pastry, tea, coffee and orange juice. Nice size, clean rooms

Stayed here one night for work. It's incredibly reasonably priced but is an old hotel that hasn't been modernised for many years. Double room was £65 for the night including breakfast, which was a selection of cereals, crossaints, toast etc. The room was clean but showing a few signs of aging. For the price I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was comfy, the room was warm, staff friendly and WiFi signal very good. If you just want a cheap, clean room for the night then this is the place. Just don't expect 5 star for your £65 and you'll be ok.

Super cheap and clean. With tea/coffee in room, also a fan and heater. Ample parking. Only thing was the bathroom was bit small and uncomfortable, though clean. Dog friendly with 10£ per dog

Stayed as down for a party in Huntingdon. Lodge was probably too far to stay for it as taxi was £25 each way. (Not lodges fault) Just a word of warning if someone is wanting to travel into Huntingdon. Nice quiet location. Was reasonably priced £43 for a twin room but you do get what you pay for very basic bouncy beds flat pillows. Room was cold (there was a heater took a little while to warm up room) Abit rough round the edges Very friendly staff!

Walking in felt like I was stepping back in time. Very old fashioned and clearly not been updated. The room had a smell which made me feel a bit nauseous. The bed was fairly comfortable to be fair but the duvet was quite thin and no blankets. Only an electric heater which I don’t like using as it can make the air in the room dry. The windows looked single pane and the bathroom didn’t have any soap or shower gel. Breakfast was basic and coffee freeze dried coffe sachets nothing fresh. Luckily I had a discount otherwise I would’ve felt more cheated than I did.

This was a visit out of necessity as I had broken down in my vehicle and had to stop overnight. However I was very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation and the very helpful staff. They do continental breakfast and sundries they also have a bar where it was possible to have a good conversation with fellow guests nice bed good quality towels and soaps. Thank you Redwings for the assistance given

Hotel is a bit dated but that’s not to take away from friendly helpful staff, spotless rooms and a nice breakfast all for a reasonable price. Would definitely stay again.
