Went to see the penguins theyre fab . Saw 1 owl various birds capybaras flamingoes wallabies cranes emus and lots more
Cafe was very nice busy staff were efficient hot choc was delicious and vegan roll .very happy a great afternoon out there will definitely go again

We went for the Christmas experience with the kids. It was amazing from start to finish.
We took a walk through the animal park. The kids loved the penguins.
Then we went on the Christmas walk through with the elves. Then on to santa. This was gorgeous and so well put together. All the children were amazed.
The park area was beautifully clean and well equipped.
Even the gift shop was run by elves.
It was a magical day.

What an absolute gem of a place, loved every minute of our visit. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We did the Capybara experience and it was amazing, and the keepers were a credit to the park

Brilliant we became members. It looked fantastic for Christmas and I love the penguins in the bird garden. Absolutely lovely cafe too!

2024 Christmas experience was average, the elves in the village didn't interact with the children (with the exception of one). Santa was lovely & wholesome yet brief. The walk was closed & we were notified on arrival. I will be considering alternative Christmas outings for 2025.
2023 Christmas experience was fabulous, we all really enjoyed all of it from the walk to elf village. The elves & Santa really brought the magic & it was very interactive. Would definitely return.

We've just been for the Christmas Experience. Fantastic!!! The lights the music everything. You have to go after dark for the best experience. Great value for money. The kids loved well done Leeds City Council.

Visited on Monday night. Sally on the gate was super helpful and told us to park a bit further out when she noticed we brought the dog with us so our dog could have a bit of an extra walk. Very pretty lights. Thank you

We visited Lotherton for the Santa experience and had a great time. It was very well managed so we didn’t have to queue at all. The staff were really friendly, including elf Sally in the car park kiosk who gave us a lovely welcome! We enjoyed the woodland trail and fairy dell and then warmed up with a hot drink and cake in the cafe. I’m sure we will be back again soon!

Went yesterday for The Christmas Experience. The upstairs of the house not open, so takes around 15 minutes to see the rooms downstairs, only one of christmas yurts open. Grounds are lovely but totally overpriced for what you get. Cafe food offering abysmal.
