Great value accommodation, staff friendly and helpful. Ideal for what we were looking for. Good food at very reasonable prices with excellent cooked breakfasts. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a cheap place for those seeking a place to lay your head for the night. The room was clean, although in need of updating. The ensuite was tiny. We ate in the restaurant, the food was homely, nothing exotic but was substantial and well cooked. The breakfast was the same. Well done, chef, as I know the kitchen had a fire recently.
The bar staff were a mixed bunch, one friendly, the female, not particularly welcoming.But great prices.

Excellent accomodation. Staff were great with us as were the locals. Rooms were ideal, whole place was spotless and the breakfast and bar food were spot on. Pool, darts, snooker an added bonus. Good location and Banchory a lovely town. Ideal place for a golf trip and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Very reasonably priced. Accommodation is basic but functional. Food is of a very high standard with good portion sizes. Staff are excellent and well trained. Great place definitely be back.

This is one of the best Hotels I have been to by far. The Manager Steve is very courteous, professional and friendly and this excellent attitude can be seen in all the other members of staff i.e. Kitchen, Cleaning/room service, reception, etc. My stay here has been very peaceful and pleasant and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks to Steve, Craig, Brian and the rest of the team.

I've been running a golf weekend to deeside for nearly 7 years, we've always stayed at the legion, the accommodation is basic, but ticks all the boxes for what we need, the breakfast in the morning it very good quality (especially the black pudding).
The food in the bar is also very good.
They have a decent sized lounge with a pool table and jukebox, and they also have a snooker room, too.
The staff are absolutely brilliant.
