Today we celebrated our mum’s surprise 80th in the Bothy and it was the perfect venue, exactly what she loves, rustic, beautiful, cosy and intimate. We had the privacy to entertain in a home from home environment with our own choice of music and decorations. Staff were amazing and very attentive. Overall brilliant service and amazing food xxx

We've been to Tor Na Coille twice in the last few weeks, both times for a Christmas style dinner and we're not disappointed.
Staff were all friendly, knowledgeable on drinks, and attentive.
Food itself was really nice, good sized portions and the kids menu is also good. One suggestion would be to have a kids Christmas dinner on the menu, as the adult one would be far too big.
We'll definitely be back

We love visiting the Tor Na Coille in Banchory. We just came home from our second year of staying there and it was a great experience. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are charming - we love room 6, it’s massive, full of quaint character and that bathroom 😍
My husband jokes that we come back for the included breakfast, it’s definitely one of the reasons 😋
We’ll see you on our next visit!

The hotel shows signs of tasteful redecoration although they had not reached our attic room where the carpet needed replacement. We will certainly be back for a longer stay in one of the refurbished rooms which looked fantastic. Dinner was excellent and chef catered for a personal food allergy with creative flair. Try the Portuguese red wine, fab.
Breakfast was wonderful. There was plenty of choice for the main course as well as fresh fruit and pastries.

Just enjoyed a top-notch Sunday lunch at the Tor-Na-Collie, absolutely delicious! Generously portioned and cooked beautifully. The beef was tender and the Yorkshires nicely crisp.
The service was good and provided by a friendly and professional team.

We stayed here for dinner bed and breakfast for our 5th wedding anniversary and it was beautiful! We arrived to a complementary upgrade which was such a lovely surprise. The room was huge which was perfect for our 9 month old to crawl around safely. The food and drinks were also fantastic over the whole of our stay and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a relaxing stay! Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful place, spotless with very polite service. We only got there for dinner though, didn't stay. Limited choices for sunday but tasty. I had the fish and chips which was ok. The rest had the cajun chicken burger and they said was delicious. The sweet potato soup was adsolutely delicious. I wish I had it as a main course. The desert greatly made as well. All and all, of couse we will be coming back

Booked in for 4 nights but only stayed for 3 nights due to work, what pity, really enjoyed my stay, very warm welcome at reception the lady on reception was excellent, with welcome, info and sorting my bill out as I had to leave early, the food and the staff and service in bar restaurant was also excellent . Also the high level of the room daily service was much appreciated. Thank you all so much. P.S the use of the gym in the hotel grounds was a bonus.

Visited for a family members 50th birthday meal. They accommodated a party of 19 of us and the entire experience was excellent.
Rami is an excellent host, and made us all feel welcome and valued
Truly good value, excellent quality food and drink. Atmosphere was first class too.
Definitely recommended. We'll definitely be making return visits.

Cannot comment on hotel facilities, as we only had lunch there .
Very pleasant, somewhat busy, but that was a plus point, so it's deemed popular.
