Lovely traditional hotel with a great breakfast. Maybe a bit long in the tooth but all the better for that. Like a good whisky benefiting with age, the taps in the bathroom were dated 1902 and of course pure quality.

Old style hotel. This could be charming but here it feels more as outdated. Bathroom fan extremely noisy. Stale breakfast products. Recommend to have breakfast elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price and stars.

Staff were brilliant and very helpful and supportive. Very comfortable bed.
Room was a bit cold and no control over hearing far as I could see. Key cards basically didn't work - was only there 2 days and needed to replace mine 3 times

Stayed here for only one night, but it was very good for a short stay. My room on the 4th floor had a good view. The room was small, it had a bath and shower, the bath was small for me, but still nice. The room was clean, the bed was hard but the sleep quality was good. The car park was secure, and free, remember to put your registration into the pad by the reception. The breakfast was good, instead of a full Scottish, we went for the Arbroath Smokie, a lightly smoked Haddock, served with eggs how you prefer, never had it before, but it was absolutely delicious. Old school hotel, getting a new lick of paint as we stayed there. The staff were very nice and I had an enjoyable stay.

Che dire? Camera cambiata tre volte. Ho prenotato una king ma nella prima c’erano due letti singoli (avevo scelto la matrimoniale), con finestra rotta che non si chiudeva. Ci spostano in un’altra camera standard con bagno minuscolo (ma ho pagato una king), alla fine ci danno una terza camera corretta ma molto vecchia, sporca e piena di polvere. Colazione in una sala un po’ squallida, via vai di operai per una ristrutturazione, il parcheggio aperto alla mercé di tutti per la presenza del pontile. Anche no. È un best western? Ahahah!

Authentieke hotel wat hier en daar wel wat aandacht nodig heeft, ze waren ook bezig met verven op verschillende locaties in het hotel dat is zeker nodig is. Mooi trappenhuis. Vriendelijke personeel. WiFi viel regelmatig weg en soms was het inloggen niet mogelijk.

Right in middle near to some good restaurants and close to attractions. Friendly staff. Only problem was noise outside at night from nearby pubs.

Had a function for a birthday party, 4 staff, 2 of which I don't think have ever worked in a bar, 1 who had some experience and 1 other who held the entire thing together. Nobody knew how to pour a £5.50 San Miguel, two inches of foam, lovely. Staff member smelt like body odour, bar smelt like vomit. Didn't know which light switches controlled what, had to urinate in the dark. I imagine management hired these people the day before hoping for the best, don't blame the staff, they're just working for a wage. I hate leaving reviews like this one but the price of the drinks should reflect on the service too.

a good hotel for the night, but there are nuances, nearby bars and restaurants where very loud visitors rest, so even closed windows do not help to reduce the noise from these establishments. Although the hotel is located in the center of the city and near a shopping center and many restaurants.

Didn't stay overnight but had a work meeting in the rooms upstairs- lovely older hotel with alot of character. Super central. 5 min walk to trains etc

Это единственное место где нас смогли разместить в Шотландии. Так, что всё прекрасно. Мы конечно не привыкли к такому сервису и обслуживанию, но выбирать то не нам.

Too expensive for a pint to start with. Old fashioned decor. Poor selection of beer on draft.
No cider on draft so Mrs wasn't best pleased.

I Booked a Christmas night out for 40 people back in August, I was told they needed a £10 deposit when booking, the Receptionist told me nothing was booked and there was nothing she could do.
The manager hasn’t even has the decency to call.
So they get a -5 from me will never deal with them again.
