The collection includes approximately 400 works, including paintings, sculptures, and drawings mainly from the 17th to 19th centuries. A focus is on the "Scuola di Posillipo," a Neapolitan painting school from the 19th century, with works by Anton Sminck van Pitloo, Giacinto Gigante, Teodoro Duclère, Consalvo Carelli, and Raffaele Carelli. Other important artists include Pasquale Celommi, Filippo Palizzi, Nicola Palizzi, Giuseppe Bonolis, Teofilo Patini, Raffaello Pagliaccetti, Gennaro Della Monica, and Francesco Paolo Michetti. The collection also includes works by Domenico Morelli, Vincenzo Gemito, Francesco Solimena, Jusepe de Ribera, Pompeo Batoni, Valerico Laccetti, and Vincenzo Camuccini.

Library

On the ground floor of the palace is the "Biblioteca Civica Vincenzo Bindi," which includes over 5,000 volumes and was made accessible to the public in 1937. The library is housed on the first floor of the palace and was also restored in 2005.

Educational Programs and Events

The museum regularly organizes exhibitions, workshops, and cultural events that touch on various aspects of art history and regional culture. It also offers educational programs for schools and groups to deepen knowledge about the local art scene.

The "Pinacoteca Civica Vincenzo Bindi" is therefore a valuable place to discover and experience the art and culture of the Abruzzo region.
