The Torre Moscarda in Paluzza, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy, is a historic 13th-century defensive tower that was once part of a larger fortress. Today, the tower houses the "Territorial Museum", which is divided into three main areas:
Ground floor: Temporary exhibitions focusing mainly on local artisanal crafts take place here.
First floor: This area is dedicated to the theme of "Trees and Forests" and offers insights into the local flora.
Second floor: The focus here is on the history of the tower and the surrounding region.
The tower is several meters high and features characteristic elements such as arrow slits, small windows, and a postern gate which serves as the only entrance and is located several meters above the ground. The walls of the tower are equipped with arrow slits, and the only gate is several meters above the ground. The tower was recently restored and is a significant historical landmark of the region.
