The "Museo Carnico delle Arti Popolari 'Michele Gortani'" in Tolmezzo is one of the most significant ethnographic museums in the Alpine region, offering a deep insight into the traditional culture and way of life of the Carnia region. The museum is divided into three floors and houses around 30 exhibition rooms. Particularly noteworthy are the reconstructed rooms of a traditional Carnian home, including a kitchen, bedroom, and living room furnished with antique furniture, handmade textiles, and household items from the 18th century.
